Ranger-led Programs

Visitor Facilities

Moose
  • Park Information: Available in a variety of print formats at the front desk of the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center. American Sign Language interpretation may be available upon advance request.
  • Restaurant and other facilities: Dornan's Chuckwagon and Pizza and Pasta Restaurant both have printed information available, although ASL interpretation is generally not available.
  • Payphone: Available at the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center and outside the Dornan's convenience store.
  • Exhibits: All exhibits in the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center that feature audio are open-captioned or have text equivalent versions available. The park film, "Life on the Edge," plays throughout the day and is open captioned. Visitors may borrow an electronic device with a conventional earpiece to amplify sound during the playing of the park film in the auditorium. The auditorium has an induction loop system allowing visitors with hearing aids having a T-Coil or similar Induction Loop Receiver to receive amplified sound during the park film without the need of another device.
 
Jenny Lake
  • Note: The South Jenny Lake visitor services area and trails on the west side of Jenny Lake are undergoing a major rehabilitation project through summer 2017. Please call ahead to verify accessibility information. Visitors will still be able to access the temporary visitor center, restrooms and boat dock during the construction project. Visit the Jenny Lake Renewal Project page for additional information.
  • Park Information: Information is available in a variety of print formats at the desk in the Jenny Lake Visitor Center. American Sign Language interpretation may be available upon advance request.
  • Restaurant and other facilities: Jenny Lake Lodge and the Jenny Lake Store both have printed information available, although ASL interpretation is generally not available.
  • Payphone: Available at the Jenny Lake Lodge and the Jenny Lake Store.
  • Exhibits and film: All exhibits in the Jenny Lake Visitor Center are text; there are no audio exhibits. A 90-second geology animation has no audio.
 
Signal Mountain
  • Restaurant and other facilities: Signal Mountain Lodge has printed information available, although ASL interpretation is generally not available.
  • Payphone: Available at the Signal Mountain Lodge.
 
Colter Bay Area
  • Park Information: Information is available in a variety of print formats at the front desk of the Colter Bay Visitor Center. American Sign Language interpretation may be available upon advance request.
  • Restaurant and other facilities: The restaurants and other facilities in Colter Bay Village and at Leek's Marina all have printed information available, although ASL interpretation is generally not available.
  • Payphone: Available at the Colter Bay Visitor Center and the Colter Bay Store.
  • Exhibits and films: All exhibits in the Colter Bay Visitor Center are text; there are no audio exhibits. The films shown in the visitor center Grand Teton: Life on the Edge and Yellowstone Aflame are open captioned. Circle of Life and Wolves are not.
 
Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve
  • Park Information: Information is available in a variety of print formats at the front desk of the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve. American Sign Language interpretation may be available upon advanced request.
  • Restaurant and other facilities: No restaurants or other facilities available.
  • Payphone: Not available at the visitor center. Visitors must rely on cell phones.
  • Exhibits and film: All exhibits in the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve featuring audio are either open-captioned or have text equivalent versions available. No film is available.
 
Flagg Ranch
  • Park Information: Information is available in a variety of print formats at the front desk of the Flagg Ranch Information Station. American Sign Language interpretation may be available upon advanced request.
  • Restaurant and other facilities: Headwaters Lodge and other facilities have printed information available, although ASL interpretation is generally not available.
  • Payphone: Available at Headwaters Lodge and campground kiosk.
  • Exhibits and film: Minimal text exhibits and small bookstore.
