The Vital Signs report includes summaries on the climate and environment, natural resources, cultural resources, and specific resource challenges in the park and parkway. Resources summarized in the report are monitored because of their significance to or influence on this ecosystem.
Natural & Cultural Resources Vital Signs
The "Natural and Cultural Resources Vital Signs" report contains an assessment of the current status of important indicators of resource condition in Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway. Park resource management staff and their cooperators monitor and study individual resources and ecological processes —vital signs— to better inform decisions made in the park and parkway.
