Abram's Creek Campground is located in a relatively remote area of Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The secluded setting offers visitors the ability to enjoy a multitude of recreational activities like hiking and fishing, without the crowds, which are sometimes common in other areas of the park. At a 1,125 foot elevation, Abram's Creek Campground provides a moderate climate, characterized by mild winters and hot, humid summers. Beautiful Abram's Creek flows beside the campground offering the camper the peaceful sounds of rippling water.

Abram's Creek Campground offers a traditional tent only outdoor camping experience with the added convenience of flush toilets and drinking water. There are no hookups or showers at the campground. Hiking trails and fishing streams are easily accessible from the site.

Hammocks are allowed in the campground with the following guidelines: Must be over the footprint of the campsite, limited to trees 10 inches in diameter with adequate padding around the tree and only 2 hammocks are allowed to be suspended from the same tree.

Campsites are $17.50 per night for individual campsites. Owners of a Senior/Golden Age or Access/Access Pass receive a 50% discount on individual campsites.

Reservations for campsites at Abrams Creek Campground may be made 6 months prior to your arrival date online at www.recreation.gov or by calling (877) 444-6777. Reservations are required to camp in this campground.

Dog graphic. Bag your pet's waste. Always leash your pet. Respect wildlife. Know where you can go.
We know pets are family, however it's important to remember that other visitors may not feel this way, and wildlife view pets as either a predator or prey.  Please follow the rules regarding pets to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.
