Expect single-lane closures on Fighting Creek Gap Road Sept. 16 through 18

GATLINBURG, Tenn.—The National Park Service will implement single-lane closures on Fighting Creek Gap Road (from the Sugarlands area to Elkmont) Sept. 16 through 18 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this time, crews will complete road shoulder repair and roadway maintenance.

Visitors should drive with extra caution and plan for increased travel time.

Check the park website for up-to-date information on road closures and construction.
