UPDATE: Cades Cove prescribed burn operations are currently planned for Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4, weather permitting.
- On Thursday, November 3, crews plan to conduct burn operations in the Cable House unit near the western end of Cades Cove. To safely accommodate burn operations, Abrams Falls Trail and the road leading to the trailhead will be closed throughout the day. The area is expected to be fully open on Friday.
- On Friday, November 4, crews plan to conduct burn operations along Sparks Lane, which may require temporary closures along the gravel road throughout the day.
