SAN FRANCISCO—You’re invited to provide feedback on an environmental assessment of the City of San Francisco’s Ocean Beach Climate Change Adaptation project, part of which will take place on National Park Service (NPS) land.

The project, which will require an easement from NPS, involves the construction of a buried seawall at the southern end of the beach to protect city infrastructure. This public comment period follows the start of the environmental assessment (EA) in July 2023.

Submit your comments online between April 1, 2024, and April 30, 2024: https://parkplanning.nps.gov/OBCCAP

The NPS is committed to encouraging public participation and providing opportunities for communication between the park and the affected community, interested stakeholders, and community residents during the process.
