2020 Update:

Dear Visitors: Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Glacier Bay and many of its partners have had to alter or cancel services for the 2020 season. Please look here for a short list of services offered, altered or unavailable this summer.

Glacier Bay Lodge is closed for the 2020 summer season. The Bartlett Cove Campground is open, and backcountry camping is also available. If visiting in summer 2020, please seek lodging and food options outside of the park. The neighboring town of Gustavus (Gustavus Visitor Association) has amenities for your visit.

Nearby Gustavus, Alaska is a charming community of 450 year-round residents. Scattered throughout Gustavus are a number of popular inns, lodges, and B&B's.

A campground (walk-in tent) is located in the park at Bartlett Cove. Maximum stay is 14 days. For those prepared to wilderness camp and kayak, there are virtually unlimited camping opportunities.
