COLONIAL BEACH, VA — George Washington Birthplace National Monument will be hosting the second annual Colonial Games Tournament on Saturday, February 17th and Sunday, February 18th. Help commemorate George Washington’s 292nd birthday at the site where he was born by playing games Washington would have known as a child.

Each game will have a scheduled one-hour tournament time during the weekend, and champions will be crowned in both child and adult categories. Walking tours of the site will also be offered at 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

In case of inclement weather, the event may be altered or cancelled. For updates about park programming, please visit the monument’s webpage (nps.gov/gewa), Instagram page (@GeorgeWashingtonBirthplaceNM), or Facebook page (@GeorgeWashingtonBirthplaceNPS).
