BUSHKILL, PA — On Wednesday afternoon, National Park Service rangers from Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, and rescue teams from Bushkill Fire, Warren County EMS and New Jersey State Police Marine Services Bureau responded to a call involving a capsized kayaker. Rescuers were on scene within 33 minutes of the initial call and recovered the body of a 54-year-old Blakeslee, Pennsylvania man two miles downstream of Bushkill Access, where bystanders had brought the victim to shore.
