The expanded amenity fees help pay for services such as lifeguards at swim beaches, river safety equipment for law enforcement officers, and maintenance staff.

Park Fees & Passes

Season passes are not available for purchase at this time. Please check back late March 2026.

Amenity fees will be charged starting on April 15th, 2026.

Important Fee Information

• No fees are charged to people who are dropping off or picking up someone from any river access ramps and those walking through Smithfield Beach on McDade Recreational Trail.
• Expanded Amenity Fees are not covered by America the Beautiful Annual Pass. Holders of the following passes are eligible for a 50% discount on the Expanded Amenity Fees:
  • America the Beautiful Access Pass
  • America the Beautiful Senior Annual/Lifetime Pass
  • America The Beautiful Military Annual/Lifetime Pass
• Expanded Amenity Fee season passes are available beginning late winter/early spring.

Fee rangers are stationed on weekends and some weekdays at the expanded amenity areas. Fees are applicable whether or not rangers are present.

Expanded Amenity Fees

Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area does not charge entrance fees to visit the park. Specific areas used for swimming, picnicking, and launching boats do have expanded amenity fees that cover the cost of maintenance in these areas.

Expanded Amenity Fee Areas - $10 per vehicle per day

• Milford Beach (PA)
• Dingmans Access (PA)
• Bushkill Access (PA)
• Smithfield Beach (PA)
• Turtle Beach (NJ)

Please Note: Smithfield, Milford, and Turtle Beaches will only accept credit/debit card payments when employees are on duty. Separate payment stations are available for cash payment. Cash is accepted at all other fee areas in the park and at the three beaches when fee collectors are not on duty. Credit/debit card payments can be made by filling out information on fee envelopes when fee collectors are not on duty.

Expanded Amenity Season Passes

Passes will arrive from printing in late March 2026. Appointments to purchase season passes in person will become available when the passes are in the park.

To pay with a credit card (preferred):

1. Download the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Season Pass Application.

2. Fill the application out on the computer or print the application to fill it out.

3. Email e-mail us with a completed application, either an image or attached.

4. When we receive your application, we will call you to process payment over the phone.

5. Once payment is processed, we will mail you your season pass!

To pay with a check:

1. Download the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Season Pass Application.

2. Print your application and fill it out.

3. Mail your application and check to the address provided.

4. When we receive your application, we will process your payment and application.

5. Once payment is processed, we will mail you your season pass!

1st pass - $45
2nd pass - $25
3rd pass and beyond - $12.50

Park Season Pass Senior/Military:

1st pass - $22.50
2nd pass - $11.25

Every Kid Outdoors Pass 

For Fourth Grade Students

Beginning on September 1st every year, fourth grade students can use this link to get a voucher for the Every Kid Outdoors Annual 4th Grade Pass during the school year. The voucher can be redeemed for the 4th Grade Pass at any location that sells America The Beautiful Passes.

With this pass, 4th graders and their families have access to national parks and other federal lands from September through August 31 every school year.
 

How to Get Your Pass:

1. Click on the Every Kid Outdoors link

2. Select Get Your Pass and apply for the voucher.

3. Bring your voucher to a public land site that sells America The Beautiful passes.

4. Plan your visit to the public land sites of your choice.

5. Show your pass at the entrance to the park and enjoy!
