Getting Around

Biscayne Bay view by boat

90% of visitors enter the park by boat. This is because 95% of the park is covered by water. Visitors without a boat may join guided boat tours, explore the Dante Fascell Visitor Center, attend ranger programs, walk the short jetty trail, watch a film or have a picnic. To get beyond the visitor center area requires a boat. There are no bridges or ferries to the islands or campgrounds, and only one mile of road in the entire park.
