Bighorn Canyon is partnering with ZooMontana in Billings on August 26, 2021, to help people learn more about birds (and maybe snakes).  Please join the Zoo’s Education Coordinator Katie and Ranger Ellie at ZooMontana at 11 AM and learn about the Raptors that live in Bighorn Canyon NRA. During this program you will see some of the live birds of prey that call Southeastern Montana home, like turkey vultures and red-tailed hawks.

Do you want to become a Park Ranger when you grow up? Already grown up? No problem. Ranger Ellie will be set up before and after the bird program to answer questions you might have about becoming a Park Ranger.

For more information about this program, please call, Yellowtail Dam Visitor Center at 406-666-9961 or ZooMontana at 406-652-8100.
