Notes: He was Padre Campos' coachman on several of his trips north to the Santa Cruz and San Pedro Rivers between 1722 and 1724. He drove Father Campos all the way to Mexico City on his trip there in 1723. Lázaro was labeled a "rebel" and "troublemaker" by some because he was totally loyal to Campos and threatened to fight on the his behalf in 1736 when the Jesuits were attempting to remove the old priest from Ímuris. |
