WINTER HARBOR, MAINE- Bring “trick-or-treaters” to the Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park on Saturday October 28 from 1-4 p.m. to have fall science fun with the 11th annual “Eeek” of Ecology Festival. This free event will occur rain or shine and is recommended for children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult.
This year, participants will “trick-or-treat" through their National Parks while learning about creepy critters and scary ecology. Ghosts, pirates, gold miners, astronauts, train engineers, and more will lead you through some of America's notable history.
The National Park Service collaborates with Schoodic Institute on a wide variety of events hosted in Acadia National Park. Explore online for Schoodic Institute event listings and directions. For questions specific to this event please call 207-288-1310.
