WINTER HARBOR, MAINE – Bring “trick-or-treaters” to the Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park on Saturday October 26 from 1-4 p.m. to have fall science fun with the seventh annual “Eeek” of Ecology Festival. This free event will occur rain or shine and is recommended for children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult.
This year, “trick-or-treaters” will visit learning stations and encounter the friendly ghosts of historic sites, learn about cave crickets, dinosaur fossils, ghoulish invasive species and more. This program begins at Eliot Hall on the Schoodic Institute campus. Costumes are optional but add to the fun.
The National Park Service collaborates with Schoodic Institute on a wide variety of events hosted in Acadia National Park. Explore online for Schoodic Institute event listings and directions. For questions specific to this event please call 207-288-1310.
