Pebble Creek Campground, elevation 6900 feet, is situated against the dramatic backdrop of the Absaroka mountain range and is located near the Northeast Entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

Pebble Creek is open mid-June through September and offers the opportunity to enjoy a more isolated camping experience. It provides both wooded and open sites and can accommodate a few RVs, including longer RVs or vehicle/trailer combinations in pull-through sites.

Pebble Creek Campground is generator-free. Drinking water and vault toilets are available. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit with grate. Food storage boxes measuring 48 x 22 x 22 inches are available for shared use.

The closest restaurants and stores are located about 9 miles away in Silver Gate or Cooke City.

Day hiking opportunities are available at Pebble Creek and from other nearby trailheads. Soda Butte Creek offers fishing opportunities and there are outstanding wildlife viewing opportunities in nearby Lamar Valley.

Its 27 sites fill quickly in the summer on a first-come, first-served basis.
