Fictional Yellowstone -- Sci-Fi

Science Fiction Books about Yellowstone This post is part of a series on a selection of fictional books from the Yellowstone Research Library collection. The series started with Mysteries – Adult Fiction.

It’s the giant, Blade, who uses Old Faithful to rescue his friends in Endworld: Yellowstone Run by David L. Robbins. The book is set 100 years after WWIII and the world is now a battle between the humans and the Breed, half-humans/half-bears and the rest of Blade’s crew have been kidnapped, so it’s up to Blade and an untested Warrior to save their friends.

Bigfoot in Yellowstone? It makes sense. At least to the editors of the Weekly World News. Not only did Bigfoot save a child in the park, she (yep, this one’s female) later gave birth in the park!

In Velvet by Burt Weissbourd sets up a Jurassic Park-like scenario. Rachel Stanley is a bear biologist in the park and she’s been noticing some strange things in the animal population. Especially in the northwest portion of the park that it supposedly closed for animal management. What exactly is going on up there and what can she do to stop it?
