Audio Described Brochures

4 of Weir Farm NHP's main brochures are audio described through the UniDescription App, available for free download on iPhone or Android devices. Audio described brochures include the Stone Walls, Gardens, Self-Guided Walking Tour, and Park Map brochures. Simply download the app and search for 'Weir Farm.'

Mobility and Wheelchair Accessibility:

• All public restrooms are accessible.
• The Weir House is wheelchair accessible and can be entered on guided tour.
• The main room of the visitor center with the information desk is wheelchair accessible.
• Weir Farm has accessible paths from the parking lot to the restrooms to the visitor center to the Weir House. These paths and the park grounds are available to everyone to use and explore.
• The Weir Studio and the Young Studio are not wheelchair accessible.
• Virtually visit areas that are not wheelchair accessible by exploring the virtual tours, linked at the top of this page.

Hearing and Vision:

• The park video has open captioning.
• Audio description devices to accompany the park video are available.
• Assisted listening devices to accompany all tours and programs are available.
• Audio description of the Vistior Center, Restroom exhibits, Weir Studio, Young Studio, and Weir House are available on the NPS Audio Description Tours App, and the park has some pre-loaded devices on hand in the visitor center.
• 4 of Weir Farm's brochures are audio described and available through the free UniDescription App.

For people with service animals:

• Service animals are allowed in park buildings and on park trails.
