Starting on January 29, the National Park Service (NPS) will open the visitor centers at the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site and Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail six days a week, Monday - Saturday.
At the Tuskegee Airmen NHS this includes Hangar #1 and Hangar #2. At the Selma to Montgomery NHT this includes the Lowndes and Montgomery Interpretive Centers, the Selma Interpretive Center will remain closed for construction. The visitor centers offer an information desk, bookstore, exhibits, and restrooms. Visitor center hours are 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Please check the websites for Tuskegee Airmen NHS and Selma to Montgomery NHT for information about seasonal and holiday exceptions (the visitor centers are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day).
