Plan A Field Trip

Theodore Roosevelt National Park offers year-round opportunities for educational field trips. Students can explore the ecology of a prairie dog town, understand badlands and Great Plains geology through up-close inspection, or learn about our beloved Conservationist President.

You can request a ranger-led field trip or opt to lead a trip yourself using our teacher resources and lesson plans as your guide.

Educational groups may qualify for an educational fee waiver, allowing free entrance to the National Park. Fee waiver application packages must be submitted 3 weeks prior to your visit.
