Plan Your Event at Cuyahoga Valley

This national park is a great location to host your event. Built during the Great Depression, the rustic Ledges and Octagon shelters in the Virginia Kendall area can be booked up to a year in advance. Use the online national reservation system and pay with a credit card. Amenities, accessibility, and pricing for each shelter are provided in the location description. Other picnic areas are first come, first serve.

Depending on what you hope to include in your event, a special use permit may be required. Examples of activities that need permits including wedding photography, commercial filming, and sports events.

Hours vary by season and location.

Shelter reservations are 10 am to 9 pm from May to September, and 10 am to 6 pm from October to April. Other locations vary.

Accessibility Information

Shelters are accessible for wheelchair users. Service animals may go wherever visitors are allowed, with a few exceptions. Many park locations and most exhibit panels are audio described.
