American Sign Language
American Sign Language interpretation is available by request for our tours, train rides, and programs. Please call (570) 445-1898 at least 14 days before your visit to make arrangements.
Park Videos
- Open captions are included on all park videos, including the park film "Steel and Steam" shown in the History Museum. Open captions are also found on video screens in the History and Technology Museums.
- Cab Tours: A video tour of our Union Pacific “Big Boy” No. 4012 locomotive’s cab is available with open captions: Union Pacific “Big Boy” No. 4012 Cab Tour. Our other park website videos also include captions.
- Cutaway Exhibit Tour: A video version of our How Does it Work: Steam Engines program with captions is available. Visitors can visit the cutaway in the Technology Museum during park hours.
Getting Around the Site
Trains often move around our historic Railyard, and may move during your visit. When moving, they will often honk to warn visitors. When exploring our Railyard, please practice caution and be aware of your surroundings.
