No entrance pass required

An entrance pass is not required to access Saratoga National Historical Park.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

2025 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

• Thursday, January 9 — National Day of Mourning for President James Earl Carter Jr.
• Monday, January 20 — Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
• Saturday, April 19 — First Day of National Park Week
• Thursday, June 19 — Juneteenth National Independence Day
• Monday, August 4 — Anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
• Saturday, September 27 — National Public Lands Day
• Tuesday, November 11 — Veterans Day

Saratoga National Historical Park is a fee free park. No entry fees or passes are needed or required! Enjoy your visit!

Federal Interagency Passes

Saratoga currently issues these passes:

• Access Pass: A free, lifetime pass – available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States that have been medically determined to have a permanent disability (does not have to be a 100% disability).
• Military-Annual Pass: Available to current members of the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force and National Guard with valid DoD CAC card and dependents of current U.S. military members with valid DD Form 1173 or Next Generation USID Dependent Card.

• Military-Lifetime Pass: Available to Gold Star family members and U.S. military veterans. To qualify, Gold Star family members must download and print a voucher to exchange for the pass and veterans must present one of the following IDs:

  • Unexpired Department of Defense Identification Card (DD Form 2, DD Form 2765, or Next Generation USID replacement
  • Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)
  • Veteran ID Card
  • Veterans designation on a state-issued U.S. driver’s license or identification card
• Fourth Grade Pass: Free for U.S. 4th graders including home-schooled and free-choice learners with a printed voucher from the Every Kid Outdoors website are eligible for the pass.

To get other Federal Interagency Passes:

• Online: Use the U.S. Geological Survey's website to purchase. NOTE: Service fees will apply, and shipment delays may be possible

• In person: National Park sites (or Federal Recreation sites) with entrance fees will typically have passes for sale
