POINT REYES, CALIFORNIA – Point Reyes National Seashore will be increasing hours and services to help visitors make the most of their summer. Beginning on the July 4 Weekend and running through Labor Day Weekend, all park visitor centers will have extended days and hours of service.
Ranger-guided programs provide a deeper look at the park and are scheduled every day during the summer. Among the many choices, these programs include opportunities to walk along the San Andreas Fault, understand the importance of dairy and beef ranching at Point Reyes, explore one of the nation's most accessible wilderness areas, and experience the Lighthouse at sunset. Schedules of Ranger-led programs and special events will be posted on the park website at https://www.nps.gov/pore. For more information on specific hours and opportunities during the summer at Point Reyes National Seashore, please visit the park website at https://www.nps.gov/pore. -NPS- |
