Possible Suicide Victim at Point Reyes National Seashore

Point Reyes Station, CA- Point Reyes National Seashore was notified of a possible suicide at 11:30 am this morning. A park visitor reported finding a note on a vehicle in the Chimney Rock parking lot.

Park Rangers conducted a hasty search on the ground. The body was located at 2 pm by a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter located in San Francisco.

Marin County Search and Rescue is recovering the body. The name of the victim is being withheld until family is notified.
