Choosing an Entrance Pass

Do you have or qualify for a discounted America the Beautiful Pass?

If you already have an America the Beautiful—the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass, that's the only entrance pass you need. Seniors, military, visitors with a permanent disability, and families with a 4th grader are eligible for a free or discounted America the Beautiful pass.

$10.00

Pipe Spring National Monument collects a $10 entrance fee at the jointly-run Visitor Center and Museum. Of this entrance fee, $3 goes directly to the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians

For Individuals

All visitors over the age of 16 need an entrance pass, including vehicle passengers. Children under the age of 16 don't need an entrance pass.

There is a $10 fee per person 16 years of age and older. Children under 15 enter for free. This fee includes a $3/person Tribal use fee to the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians. All Interagency Passes are accepted.

America the Beautiful Passes are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Passholders must show valid photo identification (ID) with each pass.

How to Get an America the Beautiful Pass

In Person (Recommended)

Passes can be purchased or picked up at over 1,000 federal recreation sites.

Order Online, Receive by Mail

To receive your pass by mail, order online at the USGS Online Store . Online orders are for physical passes, not digital passes, and may take up to three weeks to be processed and delivered. Order receipts may not be used in place of a physical pass. We recommend ordering at least three weeks in advance of your visit, or picking up a pass in person instead.

2025 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

 

$10.00 per person for 7 days. (Includes a $3.00 per-person tribal use fee.) Children 15 years old and under are admitted free. Beginning January 2, 2020, cash payments will no longer be accepted (credit or debit cards only). Visitors may pay entrance fees or purchase an Interagency Annual Pass with cash at the Zion Forever Project bookstore in the Visitor Center.

Holders of the America The Beautiful-Interagency Annual, Senior or Access Passes, and up to 3 companions, are admitted free. These passes can be obtained at Pipe Spring, or at any federal recreation site that charges an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee.

  • Interagency Annual Pass - $80, good for 1 year, anyone may purchase.
  • Interagency Senior Pass - $80, lifetime pass, may be purchased by U.S. citizens 62 years of age and older.

  • Interagency Senior Pass (Annual) - $20, may be purchased by U.S. citizens 62 years of age and older.
  • Interagency Annual Pass Military - free, good for 1 year - available to U.S. military members and dependents in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard and also, Reserve and National Guard members. Must be obtained in person at a Federal recreation site by showing a Common Access Card (CAC) or Military ID (Form 1173).
  • Interagency Access Pass - free, lifetime pass, may be obtained by anyone with a permanent disability.
  • Every Kid in a Park 4th Grade Pass - free, annual pass available to 4th grade students. Students must complete an activity and print a voucher before parks can issue the annual pass. Learn more about the 4th grade pass program.

Tour group fees (commercial and non-commercial) are $10.00 per person. Members of a group who hold an Interagency Pass or Golden Passport are admitted for free.

Large groups (commercial and non-commercial) of more than 15 people should call for reservations at least three weeks in advance: 928-643-7105.
