Pipe Spring National Monument will waive its entrance fee on four days in 2020. The four entrance fee-free days for 2020 will be:
● Monday, January 20 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day
● Saturday, April 18 – Start of National Park Week/National Junior Ranger Day
● Monday, August 25 – National Park Service Birthday
● Saturday, September 26 – National Public Lands Day
● Wednesday, November 11 – Veterans Day
Fee free days provide an excellent opportunity for everyone to get out and explore a national park. Pipe Spring National Monument normally charges $10 per adult (persons 16 or older). We are one of 115 national park service units that charge an entrance fee. The other 304 do not charge for entry. The National Park System includes more than 85 million acres and is comprised of 419 sites, including national parks, national historical parks, national monuments, national recreation areas, national battlefields, and national seashores.
Pipe Spring also sells and issues interagency passes good for entrance to all National Park Service sites. These passes allows unlimited entrance to more than 2,000 federal recreation areas, including all national parks. There are also free or discounted passes available for senior citizens, current members of the military, families of fourth grade students, and disabled citizens.
