Contact: Bill Parker, (928) 524-6228 ext. 262 Petrified Forest National Park Learning Center Lecture Series, January 2007 Petrified Forest, AZ ― Petrified Forest National Park paleontologist Bill Parker will be giving an hour-long presentation titled “Revueltosaurus – Solving a Dinosaur Mystery” as part of the park’s ongoing Learning Center Lecture Series. The lecture will discuss the recent discovery of fossil skeletons at the park and their significance to the study of the dinosaurs. The lecture will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, and will be held at the Painted Desert Visitor Center Community Building in Petrified Forest National Park. This lecture is open to the public and admission is free. The Petrified Forest National Park Learning Center was established to bring park visitors and researchers together to foster understanding and appreciation of the natural and cultural resources of the park and the Colorado Plateau. Lectures are held the first Wednesday of each month on a variety of topics including geology, paleontology, archaeology, and biology.
