Visit your national parks during three fee-free weekends* at 147 national parks that usually charge entrance fees—including Petrified Forest National Park! “During these tough economic times, our national parks provide opportunities for affordable vacations for families,” Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar said at a press conference at Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Ohio. “I encourage everyone to visit one of our nation’s crown jewels this summer and especially to take advantage of the three free-admission weekends.” Mark your calendars for fee-free weekends at the national parks this summer:
