Cultural Demonstration Program at Petrified Forest Continues

The Petrified Forest National Park Cultural Demonstrator Program provides opportunities to share rich history and traditional craft making in the beautiful setting of the historic Painted Desert Inn. The following demonstrators are scheduled for this coming weekend:

Friday, March 28th 2014:

Alberta & Weaver Selina, from Second Mesa on the Hopi Nation, will be creating traditional Hopi basketry and demonstrating silversmithing.

Saturday, March 29th 2014:

The Goodlucks, of the Navajo Nation, will demonstrate their family tradition of Navajo silver smithing.

Sunday, March 30th 2014:

The Justin Morris family of Winslow, Arizona will demonstrate their techniques in gold- and silversmithing.
