Petrified Forest, AZ― Come spend the day at Petrified Forest National Park! On Sunday, August 9, Park Ranger Adrian Flores will be conducting an all day excursion at the park. There will be opportunities to “get off the beaten path” and discover fantastic areas of the park where the hidden stories will be shared by Park Rangers, Scientists, and others who are experts in their fields. Some of the stops will include: Paleontology Lab Painted Desert Inn Pintado Point Route 66 Puerco Pueblo Blue Mesa Crystal Forest Rainbow Forest Museum It will be a fun-filled, educational day, packed full of fascinating science, intriguing mysteries, wonderful history and spectacular views. This is an all day excursion and will require good footwear for walking, sun protection, a lunch, and at least 2 quarts of water. Reservations are strongly recommended.
