Las Posadas and Farolito Walk

The holidays are a special time of year! Each December, the park and its partners traditionally honors the New Mexican Las Posadas by placing more than 3,500 farolitos along the main trail. In Spanish, las posadas means “inns” or “shelters,” which represents the journey of Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem in their search for shelter. Visit the Las Posadas and Farolito Walk page for more information about these holiday events.

Visit the Things to Do page for information about visiting the park any other time.
