Junior Ranger

The NPS Junior Ranger program is an activity-based booklet distributed by almost every park, and some Junior Ranger programs are national. Each booklet is unique to its specific national park site.

At the Obed Wild and Scenic River Visitor Center, learners of all ages may receive a free Junior Ranger booklet. An English Jr. Ranger and Spanish Jr. Ranger booklet is available to download prior to your visit.

Once you’ve finished, you can bring this book back to the visitor center and present your hard work to a ranger. If you’ve already left the park, you can send in your booklet and receive your badge in the mail.
