Basic Information

New Philadelphia National Historic Site is currently open to the public with no scheduled operating hours. Tours can be arranged by contacting the New Philadelphia Association (NPA). The NPA manages a website and social media, an informational kiosk, and an augmented reality self-guided walking tour. The app for the 1/4-mile-long walking tour can be downloaded onto to handheld electronic devices, cost-free, at the kiosk. There are no restrooms, trash receptacles, or services on site, so please plan ahead. Many programs and materials, including a junior ranger program, are not yet available.

A Passport to Your National Parks® cancellation stamp highlighting the site’s association with the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom is available at the Barry City Hall and Barry Public Library.
