Children around the country recite the Junior Ranger motto and take an oath to protect their National Parks, continue to learn about their parks, and to share their knowledge about the parks with friends and family. Junior Rangers are typically between the ages of 5 to 13, although people of all ages can participate.
We are proud to offer a Junior Ranger program at Nez Perce National Historical Park's visitor center in Spalding, Idaho. There is no cost to participate. Stop by the visitor center to pick up your book, or print a copy at home before your visit. Complete a series of activities in the booklet, share your answers with a park ranger, and receive an official Junior Ranger badge!
