KNOW BEFORE YOU GO. As you travel to different parks, find out the regulations for your pet. Please know where pets are allowed and where they aren't before taking your pet to the parks.
Dogs on a leash are ALLOWED on the 3 self-guided hiking trails only.
Leash must be no longer than 6 feet.
Pets are NOT ALLOWED on the Betatakin or Keet Seel hikes.
Pets must be on a leash at all times while in the parking lots, campground, and self guided trails.
Owners are responsible to clean up after pets.
Do not leave pets unattended for long periods of time.
Do not leave pets inside vehicle with windows rolled up during the summer months.
DO NOT FEED STRAY ANIMALS THAT ARE WITHIN PARK BOUNDARIES!
This includes wildlife and domesticated animals such as dogs and cats.
Do not pick up stray animals along the highway and bring to the park.
Stray animals may belong to local residents.
