Navajo National Monument is located on the Navajo Nation approximately 9 miles from Hwy 160 at the end of AZ Hwy 564.
Navajo National Monument is a free park that offers a picnic area and camping facilities so it is an excellent place for travelers to stop who are on their way to and from Page, Monument Valley, and the Grand Canyon.
Please be aware that we are NOT Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. Monument Valley is located approximately 1 hour from our park near the Utah/Arizona border off of Hwy 163.

*GPS systems have been leading visitors to travel on Indian Route 221 to and from Shonto which is an UNPAVED DIRT ROAD. It is not advisable to drive on this road due to impassable road conditions especially for large RVs and cars.
