Navajo National Monument's Visitor Center is open year-round but the building is closed on Thanksgiving (November 26), Christmas (December 25), and New Year's Day (January 1). The three (3) self-guided trails and campgrounds remain open even when the visitor center is closed.

Summer hours: From Memorial Day (last week of May) to Labor Day (first week of September), the visitor center is open 8am to 5:30pm (Mountain Daylight Time).

Winter hours: From October to May, the visitor center is open 9am to 5pm (Mountain Standard Time).

Time Change: From March 08, 2020 to November 01, 2020 the Navajo Nation (including Navajo National Monument) observes Mountain Daylight Savings Time (MDST) which is one hour ahead of the rest of the state of Arizona (Grand Canyon, Page, Flagstaff).
