Winter weather closures implemented on Natchez Trace Parkway

NASHVILLE — Beginning at 3 p.m. CST Natchez Trace Parkway will close from Collinwood, TN (Milepost 355) all the way to the northern terminus in Nashville (Milepost 444).    Travelers should exercise caution when driving and avoid the Parkway. Current weather information is available through your local radio and television stations.    Other areas of the Natchez Trace Parkway may experience closures due to hazardous conditions. The latest information on closures and detours can be found on www.nps.gov/natr , FacebookInstagram, or Twitter. In the event of an emergency on the Natchez Trace Parkway, please call the Parkway Communications Center at (800)-300-PARK (7275) or dial 911.

The Parkway Visitor Center near Tupelo, MS, is open 9am-4:30pm seven days a week. The visitor center is closed Thanksgiving, December 25th and January 1st.
