Wintery weather conditions continue on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Tennessee, Alabama, and the northern section of Mississippi. The Natchez Trace Parkway is still closed from milepost 429 to the northern terminus at 442.5, affecting the on-ramps at Tennessee Highways 100, 96, and 46 (Pinewood Road). Travelers are strongly advised to not use the Parkway in Tennessee and Alabama. From U.S. Highway 82 (milepost 204) northward to the Alabama line, roads and bridges are icy and continue to be hazardous. Access into the Colbert Ferry Site (Milepost 327.3) is closed. In the event of an emergency on the Natchez Trace Parkway, call Park Dispatch at (800) 300-PARK (7275) or 911. |
