The Natchez Trace Parkway Announces Summer Hours for the Meriwether Lewis Death and Burial Site

HOHENWALD, TN – The Meriwether Lewis Visitor Information Center on the Natchez Trace Parkway will operate on summer hours starting Sunday, May 6, 2018. Summer hours of operation will be Wednesdays through Fridays from noon to 4:30 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. The visitor information center will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The burial monument, restrooms, campground, and hiking trails are open seven days a week.
 
The Meriwether Lewis Visitor Information Center is located at milepost 385.9 on the Natchez Trace Parkway near Hohenwald, Tennessee. For additional information, please call (800) 305-7417.

The Parkway Visitor Center near Tupelo, MS, is open 9am-4:30pm seven days a week. The visitor center is closed Thanksgiving, December 25th and January 1st.
