TUPELO, MS: “During November 2016, the Natchez Trace Parkway experienced a slight decrease in the number of recreational visits from the 2015 figures,” stated Superintendent Mary Risser. “This year, 453,560 visitors used the Parkway during November 2016 compared to 459,006 who were counted in 2015.” Numbers for the entire year, however, continue to top last year’s numbers.”
These numbers continue to put the Natchez Trace Parkway on track to be among the top ten most visited National Park Service sites.
