TUPELO, MS: The Natchez Trace Parkway invites children and their families to come enjoy the Read with a Ranger program at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the Parkway Visitor Center. This month’s featured story is “Stellaluna.” Children will listen to the story and then explore the differences and similarities between bats and birds in an interactive activity. Read with a Ranger is a 45-minute program that is most appropriate for ages six and under, but all ages are welcome. Participants will listen to a story, join in a fun activity, and go on an optional and easy half-mile hike. Read with a Ranger features a new story on the second Saturday of the month.
