TUPELO, Miss. – The Natchez Trace Parkway Park Rangers pulled over a carnival convoy on July 25, 2023.

This group of commercial vehicles were contacted by our Park Ranger near milepost 204, outside of Mathiston, MS. The company responsible faces numerous citations and fines. A concerned, local motorist called in and reported what they had seen. The Parkway quickly deployed a Park Ranger to intercept the convoy of commercial vehicles.

It is a good time to remind the public that all commercial vehicles are prohibited on the Natchez Trace Parkway, whether you’re following your GPS or not.  If you happen upon commercial vehicles while traveling the Parkway, remember to call 1-800-300-PARK to report it.
