Morristown, NJ – Morristown National Historical Park (NHP) is pleased to partner with Fairleigh Dickinson University to offer a three-part film series as part of Arts and Culture Collaborative’s first project “LatinX ConeXiones.” All of the films are free of charge and will be screened in Morristown NHP’s Washington’s Headquarters Museum, 30 Washington Place, Morristown, New Jersey.
Arts and Culture Collaborative notes that “LatinX ConeXiones” is an “interdisciplinary exploration of the arts and culture of Latinx artists and communities in Morris County. All of the Morristown NHP and Fairleigh Dickinson University sponsored films will include English subtitles and be shown on the large screen at Morristown NHP’s Washington’s Headquarters Museum. The September 19th film selection is confirmed:
*6 pm, Thursday, September 19th: No, from Chile, 118 minutes, 2012. Academy award nominee Best Foreign Language Film. The IMDb description notes, “An ad executive comes up with a campaign to defeat Augusto Pinochet in Chile's 1988 referendum.”
The titles of the October 17th and 24th films are to be determined; stay tuned for further information.
