Mulberry Bend Overlook will be closed temporarily while the park addresses accessibility issues at the overlook. The trail is being redesigned and reconstructed. Work is scheduled to take place between Monday, August 09 and Thursday, December 02, 2021. Unfavorable weather or other unexpected project delays could cause the schedule to change. Closure of the overlook is necessary for the safety of visitors and workers. The overlook will reopen as soon as construction is complete. Mulberry Bend Overlook is part of the Missouri National Recreational River located along Nebraska Highway 15 about one quarter mile south of the Vermillion-Newcastle Bridge.
