DENVER, CO – The National Park Service (NPS) wants to hear from the public as we prepare an interpretive plan for future programming, exhibits, and media at Manhattan Project National Historical Park (Manhattan Project NHP) that will capture a wide array of experiences and perspectives.
Manhattan Project NHP is initiating a stakeholder engagement process as part of the interpretive planning process for the park. Engagement sessions will be organized both by theme and by region, with the latter focused on the regions surrounding the three Manhattan Project NHP locations - Hanford, WA; Los Alamos, NM; and Oak Ridge, TN. Due to ongoing public health restrictions associated with COVID-19, all events will be held virtually.
The NPS is hosting an Introductory Webinar on April 13, 2021. The webinar will provide a brief overview of the project and information on how the public can participate. The webinar will be available at the following times in the park’s three time zones:
3:30 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time
4:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time
6:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time
