Most visitors needEntrance PassesAn entrance pass is not required to access Lincoln Home National Historic Site. Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money. There is no fee to visit Lincoln Home National Historic Site or go on a tour of the Lincoln Home.
![]() LIHO Tour TicketsEntry into the Lincoln Home is only permitted through a ranger-led tour. Tour tickets are free and can be obtained at the Visitor Center front desk. Due to heavy visitation from March through November, visitors are encouraged to arrive as early as possible to reserve tickets. On busy days, tickets may run out prior to the last tour of the day, usually at 4:30pm. Group ToursSchool groups, charter tours, or other groups of 15 or more must reserve Lincoln Home tours in advance by contacting the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau (SCVB) as soon as possible. Groups planning to visit in April, May, or October should schedule approximately 6 months in advance. Reservations can be made through the SCVB website under the "Tours" pages. For more information on group tours, please call 1-800-7300 or email GroupTours@Springfield.IL.US Parking FeeThere is a $2 per hour per vehicle fee to park in the Lincoln Home NHS parking lot. Parking can be paid for at the gate arm kiosk when leaving the parking lot. Visitors are asked to please pay with credit or debit card. We do not accept cash.
America the Beautiful PassVisitors can purchase an America the Beautiful Pass at our Visitor Center Front Desk. An America the Beautiful pass covers and/or reduces the entrance and amenity fees at different National Park and Federal Recreational Lands. It does not apply to parking fees in the Lincoln Home Parking lot.
