News Release Date: February 25, 2008 Notice of Pre-Bid Site Visit for Commercial Services at Lassen Volcanic National Park Lassen Volcanic National Park issued a prospectus for proposals to operate commercial services within the park on January 22, 2008. Interested parties are welcome to attend a site visit on March 5, 2008 at 8:30am. Please contact Leigh Lisak, Chief of Administration, for reservations and directions at (530) 595-4444 x5140. The site visit will include tours of the new Visitor Center, which is currently under construction, the Manzanita Lake Camper Store and the planned site for seasonal rental cabins. Travel will take place in snowy areas and will require participants to bring warm clothing and a sack lunch. The park will provide snowshoes, hard hats and safety vests.
