Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is now accepting applications for the 2022 summer Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) program. Up to nine total YCC enrollees will be recruited for positions at Spring Canyon, Fort Spokane, and Kettle Falls. Please indicate on your application which area or areas you are interested in working. Positions are open to students who are at least 15 years old but will not reach 19 years old by the end of the season. This is non-residential employment, and all enrollees must provide their own transportation to and from work, as well as a social security number prior to entrance into the program. Employment is scheduled to start June 13, 2022 and continue through August 12, 2022. Enrollees will be paid the Washington State minimum hourly wage for 40-hours a week.

To apply, contact the National Park Service or a local high school for a YCC application form. Forms are also available through https://www.nps.gov/subjects/youthprograms/ycc.htm. Applications must be received at our Coulee Dam Office by Friday, May 20, 2022. Please send completed applications to: National Park Service - YCC, 1008 Crest Drive, Coulee Dam, WA 99116, or email completed applications to: tabitha_batten@nps.gov
